Project Introduction
Plantlet is a meal planning app that helps users to meet their dietary needs while cooking in a way that focuses on seasonal produce and reducing food waste
Target Audience:
Adults aged 18-26 working/studying full-time living alone or with a partner.
Gen Z adults show a strong interest in sustainability around food consumption
Gen Z has also demonstrates interest in cooking, despite the presence of busy work scheudles.
Existing meal planning apps either focus too strongly on health or lack adequate flexibility
There is a need for an app that helps Gen Z adults manage their food sustainability practices while meeting their dietary needs on a busy schedule.
